2006 CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

Morning Program:
8:30am Registration and Live Music by Gentle Thunder
9:00am

Opening Ceremony with Living Earth Circle featuring Gentle Thunder, Lisa Pavati, Louise Paré, Nancy Bloom, NurJamila, and Windsong

Followed by Give Away Offering for Honorees

9:30am Grandmother Council Session

The theme of this session is "When the Grandmothers Speak the Earth will be Healed". All honorees will address the healing of the people and/or the planet.
11:30am Break (15 minutes) with live music by Gentle Thunder
11:45am

Honoring Ceremony for All women Elders with Living Earth Circle featuring Alyssa Ray, The Children’s Peace Choir, SOU’S NASSU Native American Drum, Windsong, Duane Light, Lisa Pavati, D'vorah, Prema, Eostar, Harmony, Pepper Marey and Heather Hardin.

Luncheon and Live Music:

Live music by Irene Tukuafu (dining room)
Live music by Talia Rose (community connections room)

Afternoon Program:

The afternoon program is composed of 3 sessions of hour-long experiential workshops. Three workshops are offered during each session and are led by members of this year's Grandmother Council. Between workshop sessions are 20 minute breaks and time to socialize and network. Live music will be performed during the breaks.

Collective Art Project in the Art Gallery Lounge

Collective Art Project:
Celebrating our theme of Empowering Creativity a collectively- created art project will be open throughout the day at the conference. A hoop-web frame has been made by Living Earth Circle as the frame to support community inspiration. The hoop represents the Earth and the web reflects all of creation. Onto it, we invite you to weave your positive visions for the well-being of all our relations. We will have many types of materials available. All are welcome to come and co-create!

(Native American Flute, Hammer Dulcimer)
2:30-3:15 Live Music by Heather Hutton
(keyboard, vocals, Tibetan bowls, drum)
3:15- 4:10 Live Music by Heather Andrews (harp)
4:15- 5:10 Live Music by Duane Light (flute, guitar)
