Gentle Thunder is a passionate visionary and trailblazer. Drawing upon her foundation as a drummer and her Native American, Cree heritage, her musical path expanded into an innovative multi-instrumentalist and intuitive composer. While living in Mt. Shasta, CA her expression has grown to encompass hammer dulcimer, Native American flute, piano, taiko and ceremonial drumming. Gentle Thunder creates a sacred space for all who attend to close their eyes, pay attention to their breath, relax, and go deeply into their connection with Source. The music that she creates each time, whether it is on the drum, hammer dulcimer or Native American flute, is a direct reflection of all those present at each gathering. She says, “It is my intention to hold the space for the remembrance of our wholeness and to awaken a deep sense of inner peace. Our world is moving at a very fast pace, and having the time to reconnect with our center is vital.”

She has released two acclaimed solo CDs: Awakening Remembrance, an exquisite hammer dulcimer release, and the recent Winds of the Heart, bringing the power and peace of simplicity through the solo Native American flute. Both CDs will be available at the gathering.
